Equipment needed
- Moscow Mule copper mug (ideal) or highball glass
- Manual citrus press
- Mixing spoon
Tips from GIMBER
- The copper mug: Traditionally, the Moscow Mule is served in a copper mug, which keeps the drink cold for longer and enhances the sensory experience. It's not mandatory, but it's a real bonus!
- Ultra-fresh lime: Always use freshly squeezed lime juice, never bottled juice. The difference in taste is enormous.
- Perfect temperature: Put the copper mug in the freezer 15 minutes before serving for an optimal icy experience.
- Balance of flavours: If you find the cocktail too tart, reduce the lime juice to 10 ml. If you want it spicier, increase the GIMBER to 40 ml.
- Sweeter version: Add 10 ml of cane syrup or agave syrup if you prefer a less dry mule.
Possible substitutions
- Use another GIMBER for a change of pace. GIMBER Mule also pairs well with BRUT or LILLY for a sweeter taste.
